Eritrean, Ethiopian and Somalian Foreign Ministers Arrived in Djibouti

ANOTHER GOOD NEWS FOR HORN OF AFRICA

Major geopolitical realignments in the Horn of Africa is on course. Foreign Ministries of Eritrea, Ethiopia, and Somalia are reportedly headed to Djibouti to resolve the border dispute between Eritrea and Djibouti, according to Yemane G.Meskel, Eritrean Information Minister.

With a rapprochement between Eritrea and Djibouti over the Dumeira Island and Dumeira Mountain (pictured) dispute on the cards, unprecedented geopolitical and economic engagement in the Horn of Africa is gradually unfolding.

The Director of Communications, Office of the President, Federal Republic of Somalia said that FM Amb. Ahmed Esse Awad and his counterparts from Eritrea and Ethiopia have gone to Djibouti to advance dialogue between Eritrea and Djibouti.

He said, “advancing peace and security in the region is the cornerstone of connectivity and prosperity for our peoples.”
